About the Role:

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be the technical liaison between purchasing, product engineering, manufacturing, and our supply base. In this role, the Supplier Quality Engineer will work with the suppliers to resolve supplier-manufacturing issues; implement and monitor the quality-planning systems, conduct process audit/buy-off, conduct pre-shipment inspection and provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Qualifications

-Coordinate Initial Supplier Evaluation / Assessment and make recommendations for qualification and/or disqualification based upon the assessment scores

2. Ensuring Supplier Quality

-Coordinate with Engineering, Process and Manufacturing functions to ensure clear requirements and specifications are laid down for the components/parts- Execute the First Article Inspection process to ensure parts are conforming to requirements
