2.主要职责
成功入选者将需要履行以下职责:

3.资格条件
申请人应具备相关领域的博士学位。申请人如在独立研究、教学、学生指导和社会实践方面有杰出的成果将会被优先考虑。取得博士学位的应届博士生如具有优异的学术成果也将被考虑。
对于讲座教授、教授和副教授职位,申请人应满足以下要求:
-展示出世界一流的学术成就和声誉卓著的国际学术领导力;
-在教学、学生指导和申请科研项目方面具有丰富经验;
-展示出与大学战略研究领域相一致的科研项目建设能力;

cityuniversityofhong kong(dongguan) (cityu(dongguan)) is a
jointly established university with independent legal entity status and the
full backing of city university of hong kong (cityu), dongguan university of
technology, and the dongguan municipal government. cityu (dongguan) aims to
develop into a world-class higher education institution, excelling in both
research and education. the university adheres to cityu’s principle of
“integration of teaching and research” and the philosophy of “beyond
boundaries”, ensuring that the academic standards align with those of cityu.
in order to meet the upcoming demands of
hign-tech development, cityu (dongguan) has plans to establish four colleges:collegeofscience,collegeofengineering,collegeofbusiness,
andcollegeofmedicaland life sciences. additionally,
state-of-the-art laboratories focusing on science, engineering, and biotech
will be established to promote research development, knowledge transfer, and
the industrial development of dongguan. cityu (dongguan) is set to offer an
array of forward-thinking academic programs in strategic areas such as computer
science, data science, electronic information engineering, biomedical
engineering, intelligence manufacturing, advanced materials, new energy, and
digital economy.
having received preliminary approval from
the state ministry of education in 2022, cityu (dongguan) is now
enthusiastically moving towards its next crucial milestone, launching a global
faculty recruitment campaign that aligns with the standards of a world-class
university. the university is inviting individuals from diverse backgrounds to
apply for faculty positions at the levels of professor, associate professor,
and assistant professor. the primary language of instruction and administration
at cityu (dongguan) is english.

responsibilities
the successful candidates will be expected
to:
-deliver exceptional instruction,
independently or collaboratively, for undergraduate and postgraduate courses;
-achieve international recognition and
demonstrate leadership in their respective fields through outstanding research
outcomes;
-contribute to administrative tasks and
responsibilities within the university department (applicable for senior
faculty);
-proactively secure external funding for
research projects, fostering innovation and advancement;
-provide exemplary supervision for
projects, internships, and theses, guiding students towards academic excellence.
3.qualifications
applicants should hold a doctoral degree
in the relevant field. a strong track record in independent research, teaching,
student supervision, and service is highly desirable. candidates who have
recently obtained their phd with exceptional achievements may also be
considered.
for the positions of chair professor,
professor, and associate professor, applicants should:
-demonstrate a record of world-class
academic accomplishments and reputable international academic leadership;
-possess extensive experience in teaching,
student supervision, and securing research project funding;
-demonstrate the ability to establish a
distinguished research programme aligned with the university's strategic
research areas;
-commit to delivering high-quality
teaching and supervision to a diverse student population at both undergraduate
